Sheena Sood
The designs of Sheena Sood are inspired by nature. Her designs feature tie, dye, mesh panels, quilts, textures, and many more. This brand makes use of methods that have been taken from traditional textile techniques of India. Moreover, some of the features that one could find in her textiles are mirrorwork beading, plant dying, and handloom weaving, which are associated with the rich textile techniques in India.
Anita Dongre
Anita Dongre is an iconic designer and has been in the field of fashion for quite some years now. She was born in Bandra, Mumbai, India. She completed her degree in SKVM’s Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics. She had always had a keen interest in fashion, which she pursued later at another university in Mumbai.
It is believed that she was heavily inspired by her mother, who used to design and stitch clothes for Anita as a child in her siblings. Anita eventually launched her own label after studying fashion design at SNDT University. She has won many awards for her entrepreneurship and fashion skills.
Some of these words consist of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2014 and the Excellence in Fashion Design Award by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Ladies Organisation, Bombay Chapter 2013; she has also won the Fame Award for Outstanding Entrepreneur – fashion and lifestyle in 2020. She has worked with a number of celebrities in Bollywood, such as Kajal, Devgn, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka, Chopra, Manushi, Sil, and Madhuri Dixit.
Suket Dhir
Suket Dhir is a designer who is simply known for his simple aesthetic preferences. He is a designer who is known for his intricate details, which not only wearers but also admire come to appreciate. He likes to put special emphasis on the playfulness of the fabric. He has launched his own brand named SuketDhir, a brand where it is claimed that their emphasis is always on less and more.
This statement is not just carried in their garments but also in the detailing and the designs of the garments. The focus is on minimalism and the indicated textiles and silhouettes of the fabric to give an overall elegant yet trendy look to the outfit. He has graduated from NIFT. It has been reported that his first retail presence could be seen at Good Earth.

They both had a passion for stellar craftsmanship and customer connection, which drove Sachin and Babi to launch their brand. They made sure to oversee every step from design to production, cutting out middlemen. The outcome was remarkable clothes and accessories that are loaded in value. Sachin&Babi crafts collections for life’s special moments. The brand shines through its focus on embellishment, colour, and silhouette.

Megan Kothari 
Megan Kothari started AARYAH, a jewellery brand that shows her passion for design. She has lived in New York City for a decade but grew up in the Northeast. Her family works in the diamond business, and she learned a lot from her dad and grandpa. Megan’s brand is a result of her lifelong interest in jewellery. Megan graduated with honours from FIT University in New York City. She then worked for big beauty brands L’Oréal and Estee Lauder. There, she gained important skills in strategy and creativity for global marketing.
In her late 20s, Megan followed her gut and started AARYAH. It began as a side project while she still had her day job. It was soon that Megan spotted a big hole in the wedding jewellery world when she looked at engagement rings. She saw that women didn’t have many choices, so they ended up with rings that didn’t show who they were.
This made her change her business in a natural way. She started making engagement rings and fancy jewellery that put design and quality first and told the wearer’s story. Megan wants to make new-age treasures that show how unique today’s women are. She tries to shake up the old-fashioned wedding jewellery business.
Naeem Khan
Naeem Khan, an Indian-American fashion designer, lives in New York City. He makes fancy dresses with lots of details. Michelle Obama, Queen Noor of Jordan, and the Princess of Wales have worn his clothes. He was born on May 21, 1958, in Bareilly, India. His dad and grandpa got him interested in fabrics. They made fancy clothes for royal families. Khan moved to the US in 1978. He worked for Halston, a famous American designer.
He learned how to make clothes fit well and look good. He worked with big names like Liza Minnelli, Andy Warhol, and Elizabeth Taylor. Khan started his own brand in 2003. Fancy stores like Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, and Saks Fifth Avenue sold his stuff. He showed his clothes at New York Fashion Week. Stores and celebrities liked his work right away.
The Council of Fashion Designers of America made Khan a member in 2008. It’s a big deal to be in this group. Khan started making wedding dresses in 2013.
