The Democratic Republic of Congo is the largest country in Sub-Saharan Africa. The country is rich in mineral resources, which should have helped the country reach greater heights regarding economic conditions. But, the history of conflicts, political unrest and instability has left the country amongst the world’s five poorest countries.
